Having his roots in Cobra art and its colourful effort to create a shared human imagery, Carl-Henning Pedersen has continued to work on abstract paintings inspired by nature and reality. Recognizable and imaginative motives such as fabulous monsters, birds, stars and human beings are recurring elements in the fantastic universe of the paintings. The atmosphere is characterized by the bright, strong colours so typical of Carl-Henning Pedersen.
